On Wellness Day, Sandrine will explain what it actually consists of, its history, the benefits that can be expected, how it works… she will also demonstrate how a session goes having one of the participants act as a model and show a few zones that can be stimulated on one’s feet (and hands) to relieve tension. A couple of Sandrine’s clients will share their experience with reflexology followed by a question and answer session.

4:00 – 5:00 Hatha yoga with Celeste Prancic

Yoga is Unity. Unity of body, mind and breath. The ancient science of yoga helps us to embrace our whole self and find joy and harmony within ourselves. Coordinating fluid movements, breathing and concentration we slow down the nervous system and allow the body to be in a state of relaxation. On this state well-being is naturally restored.

Hatha yoga is a gentle and meditative approach suitable for all.

Please wear loose comfortable clothes so your body can move freely. Bring a blanket for relaxation.

Bookclub | 17/06/2016 | 2:30 pm-4:00 pm

Children Act

The June read for the bookclub is “The Children Act” by Ian McEwan.

Fiona Maye is a leading High Court judge, presiding over cases in the family court. She is renowned for her fierce intelligence, exactitude and sensitivity. But her professional success belies private sorrow and domestic strife. There is the lingering regret of her childlessness, and now, her marriage of thirty years is in crisis. At the same time, she is called on to try an urgent case: for religious reasons, a beautiful seventeen-year-old boy, Adam, is refusing the medical treatment that could save his life, and his devout parents share his wishes. Time is running out.
