ENGLISH CAMP COLLÉGIENS Fall 2025 Have some fun in English during the school holidays! October 22,23,24 | 2 – 5pm ENGLISH CAMP is a three-day immersive program designed specifically for collégiens. Families, you’re invited to a Halloween celebration at the library! Come in costume and enjoy a morning of festive fun, including a spooky storytime, Halloween face painting, trick-or-treating, and a costume parade for kids to show off their outfits. This event is open to children ages 1 to 11, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Free and open to the public. By registration only. |

Join the library community for a special moment to talk about anything and everything (in English of course)! Just come in and chat with others, have a cuppa and enjoy the company. Coffee House is open to all library members. No need to reserve! Recommended donation of 1 €. |

Come along and bring your knitting, Have a natter while you’re sitting, Or learn to knit with wool provided, Needles loaned and stitches guided. Knitted garments are très chic, So be in vogue and start this week. Knit and Natter is a free activity, open to all library members. No need to reserve, just come and enjoy! If anyone has some extra yarn please bring it in. |

“Books and Tea” is a monthly meeting, on a Thursday, for bookworms and tea drinkers. Bring a book you’ve really enjoyed, talk about it and pass it on! The group meets from 2:15 to 3:45 at La P’tite Cigogne, 23 rue du Musée in Angers. No need to sign up, just come and enjoy! |

If you enjoy exploring all forms of textile and multimedia art, this activity is for you. We experiment with many different techniques (embroidery, weaving, patchwork, quilting, collages, dyeing techniques…) and we take pleasure in sharing and exploring various types of work together. Some of our shared projects are displayed at the library. This year we intend to go further into the artistic side of creation. No previous expertise required. Just come and join us! |

Treat yourself to an afternoon of a collective reading of one of Shakespeare’s plays. This activity consists of watching a BBC production on DVD and then reading relative scenes.
