To mark its 40th anniversary, the Jean-Lurçat Museum of Contemporary Tapestry in Angers is showcasing the extraordinary Aubusson Weaves Tolkien tapestry collection and the fascinating story behind its creation. In celebration of this remarkable exhibition, the library invites you to a special theatrical tour featuring live readings from J.R.R. Tolkien’s beloved works, presented in collaboration with the curators of the Jean-Lurçat Museum. Immerse yourself in the rich imagery of the tapestries and the timeless words that inspired them—a true feast for the senses. Two sessions are available, with only 30 places per tour.
