Stop by the library from February 22nd to March 19th during opening hours to see Andrew Painter’s Art Show! The exhibition is free and open to the public!

Andrew Painter is a well-traveled, British painter who moved to Angers in 1988. His colorful, lively work is inspired by anything and everything in the world around him. He enjoys, above all, seeing people interpret his work in different ways. His paintings seem to take on a life of their own and his recent work reflects on both “change” and “difference”. The Big Quiz is back for the 9th consecutive year! For heaven’s sake, don’t miss out on the fun!

Note the start time, 2 pm… yes, best to be on time! There will be questions, but they will be in all sorts of shapes, sizes and challenges. Wine, coffee, tea, snacks and cakes will be available all afternoon. All this for just 12 euros a head with all proceeds going to the library for its fundraising. Remember to bring your English-speaking French friends.

The rules: Teams of 6….6 heads are better than one ! Prizes for the winning team. Teams are color coded so we recommend that you wear the colors of your team’s name ! Come along and enjoy the fun, the friendship and the laughter!
