Phoebe's retiring! Come and celebrate!

After 30 years of loyal service as Director, Phoebe will be retiring in July, 2023. Come and celebrate with the libary gang! There will be drinks and nibbles and fun and laughter!

Phoebe has asked for no gifts. Your best gift to her has been your being part of the library. However, if you would like to recognise her work she requests that you donate to the library. This event will take place at the Cloître Saint Jean in back of the Musée Jean-Lurçat et de la Tapisserie Contemporaine, 4 Boulevard Arago, 49100 Angers.

The members of our writing workshop “WRITE HERE WRITE NOW” have done it again: our wonderful participants threw themselves into theatre and dramatic writings this time. You’re cordially invited to come and see members of the group perform monologues and duos they have produced on Friday, June 16th between 10 and 10:45am at the last Coffee House meeting before summer !

Plant sale: fundraiser for the library

The library’s Garden Club will be selling seedlings from Saturday, May 6th through Saturday, May 13th…lots of vegetable seedlings but not only…! Buying plants from the library will make the planet greener, will help give you a lovely choice of interesting homegrown seedlings and, the cherry on the cake or the plum on the tree…this fundraiser helps to support the library!
