The library is pleased to invite the public for a talk in English by Franco-American violinist Elissa Cassini.

Elissa will be speaking on the theme “The Global Langage of Music” and her experience of being a musician across widely different cultures and connecting classical music with it’s surrounding art forms. Free and open to the public.

Hailed as “truly communicative” by The New York Times, Franco-American violinist Elissa Cassini has enjoyed an international career as soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster across Europe and the Americas. She recently launched the Duplexity Project, a series of innovative duos expanding on the traditional recital format. She will do just that at the Grand Théâtre d’Angers on January 10th as projections of paintings by Romanian impressionists will accompany Georges Enesco’s magical folk-inspired “Impressions d’Enfance” for violin and piano. Click here for more information about the concert.
