The library is holding its first Recycled Art Contest and invites everyone to create art from materials destined for the recycling or trash bins. Artwork must be made from recyclables or trash and be a maximum of 2 feet square. All the pieces must be secured with no sharp edges. Artwork with entry forms attached must be submitted before deadline date of June 5th. Artwork will be displayed in the library’s front window until June 11th. |

The Textile Art & Craft Group and Marie-Paule Muller, leader of the group, have the pleasure to showcase their creations at the library from May 5 to June 22, 2021. Here is a sample from one of their projects. We invite you to come and discover their delicate work! Children! Come and join us for an activity free and open to celebrate the “Journée Citoyenne”! We will be running two 45-minute activities: From 3-3:45 this activity is for children ages 3-6 on the theme of “Ecological Exploration”. We will have stories, songs, creative activities and a lot of fun to share…in English of course! 10 children maximum. From 4-4:45 this activity is for children ages 7-10 on the theme of “Explorers of Europe”. We will have stories, songs, creative activities and a lot of fun to share…in English of course! 10 children maximum. These activities will be held in Angers, address to be confirmed.
