Programme pour les essais gratuits de nos activités: 14h – 14:45 | ENGLISH CONVERSATION GROUP (Adultes) 15h – 15:45 | ENGLISH CAMP (Collégiens) 16h – 16:45 | CHILDREN’S HOUR (3-6 ans) Pour garantir le bon déroulement de la journée, nous vous prions de bien vouloir vous inscrire si vous souhaitez participer aux activités (gratuites).

Knit and Natter

Come along and bring your knitting, Have a natter while you’re sitting, Or learn to knit with wool provided, Needles loaned and stitches guided. Knitted garments are très chic, So be in vogue and start this week. Knit and Natter is a free activity, open to all library members. No need to reserve, just come and enjoy! If anyone has some extra yarn please bring it in. |
Coffee House

Join the library community for a special moment to talk about anything and everything (in English of course)! Just come in and chat with others, have a cuppa and enjoy the company. Coffee House is open to all library members. No need to reserve! Recommended donation of 1 €. |
Textile Arts & Crafts Workshop
 |
If you enjoy exploring all forms of textile and multimedia art, this activity is for you. We experiment with many different techniques (embroidery, weaving, patchwork, quilting, collages, dyeing techniques…) and we take pleasure in sharing and exploring various types of work together. Some of our shared projects are displayed at the library. This year we intend to go further into the artistic side of creation. No previous expertise required. Just come and join us! |
Saturday Reading Group

The Saturday Reading Group is for anyone who loves to read, socialize in English, and meet new people. For this meeting, the group will read “The Pull of the Stars » by Emma Donoghue. Meetings are once a month on Saturday afternoons starting at 3 pm. Open to all library members. To sign up please contact the group coordinator at bookgroup@ellia.org. |

Garden Club

The Garden Club will visit Jardins Chateau de Villeneuve, Terranjou on JUNE 4 at 14h30
We always reserve a restaurant for lunch for those interested. Details about the garden and the lunch are provided to Garden Club members via email well in advance.

Walk and Talk
 |
Get on those hiking boots and take some time to revel in the great outdoors! The group “Walk and Talk” organises an easy walk once a month – approximately 10 km, 2 to 3 hours in the afternoon – in order to discover or re-discover the beautiful hiking paths of the Maine-et-Loire. Come along with good walking shoes, protection against rain, cold or heat according to the season…. a bottle of water and a little “en-cas” to keep your stamina up ! Maximum number for each walk is 20. WANT TO JOIN THE GROUP ? EASY AS PIE !
