Book Club reads “Love and Summer” | 17/01/2025 | 3:00 pm-4:30 pm

Book Club reads "Love and Summer"

The January read for the book club is “Love and Summer” by William Trevor.

Set in a quiet Irish village in the 1950s, the story follows Ellie, a young woman who finds herself caught between the security of her marriage and the thrill of a passionate affair. When a charming stranger arrives, Ellie’s hidden yearnings come to life, stirring deep, sometimes painful, realizations. With Trevor’s masterful storytelling, Love and Summer explores themes of love, longing, and the complex layers of human connection.

The Book Club is full for the 2024-2025 year.  If you would like to join the waiting list, please send an e-mail to reception. We also invite you to consider joining Books and Tea or Saturday Reading Group!
