The Garden Club will visit Patricia Kennedy’s private garden with Flower Bar on SEPTEMBER 3 at 10:00AM
We always plan lunch at a nearby restaurant before each garden visit, and you are welcome to bring snacks to enjoy afterward.

If you enjoy exploring all forms of textile and multimedia art, this activity is for you. We experiment with many different techniques (embroidery, weaving, patchwork, quilting, collages, dyeing techniques…) and we take pleasure in sharing and exploring various types of work together. Some of our shared projects are displayed at the library. This year we intend to go further into the artistic side of creation. No previous expertise required. Just come and join us! |

Treat yourself to an afternoon of a collective reading of one of Shakespeare’s plays. This activity consists of watching a BBC production on DVD and then reading relative scenes. This is a great activity for lovers of language and fans of the great wit. Free and open to all library members. For more information or to sign-up, please contact the group coordinator here. The June read for the book club is « Sunset Song » by Lewis Grassic Gibbon Le Book Club se réunit une fois par mois pour discuter du livre, qui aura été sélectionné par les membres du club de lecture. Où et quand : Les rendez-vous ont lieu à la bibliothèque le vendredi de 14h30 à 16h30 de septembre à juin. Tarif : 20 euros pour l’année. Pour s’inscrire : Veuillez contacter la bibliothèque pour vous inscrire ! Nous vous invitons également à rejoindre Books and Tea ou Saturday Reading Group! |

Get on those hiking boots and take some time to revel in the great outdoors! The group “Walk and Talk” organises an easy walk once a month – approximately 10 km, 2 to 3 hours in the afternoon – in order to discover or re-discover the beautiful hiking paths of the Maine-et-Loire. Come along with good walking shoes, protection against rain, cold or heat according to the season…. a bottle of water and a little “en-cas” to keep your stamina up ! Maximum number for each walk is 20. WANT TO JOIN THE GROUP ? EASY AS PIE ! First register through Helloasso using this link (Be careful, you’ll need your library membership number) The group leader will then get in touch with you about 2 weeks before each walk so that you can sign up.
