Come and discover Angers' Twin Cities

Did you know that Angers is twinned with 10 different cities around the world? Each year, the city welcomes young ambassadors to live and work in Angers, helping to strengthen global partnerships and share their culture with local Angevins.

Join us for an engaging presentation in English with Maeve Geary, ambassador of Austin, Texas, USA, and Sahin Ayhan, ambassador of Osnabrück, Germany. They will introduce their home cities and the sister city program, highlighting connections with Angers and sharing stories of history and culture. The presentation will feature a close look at immigration and diversity in Texas, alongside an exploration of one of Osnabrück’s unique traditions, the Steckenpferdreiten, while weaving in personal insights from the ambassadors.

This lively and interactive event will include time for Q&A, so bring your curiosity and questions!
