Richard Zimler will be speaking on “The Importance of Historical Fiction”

Richard Zimler has published ten novels over the last 18 years, including The Last Kabbalist of Lisbon, The Night Watchman, Hunting Midnight, The Search for Sana, The Warsaw Anagrams and The Seventh Gate. He was granted a 1994 U.S. National Endowment of the Arts Fellowship in Fiction.  He lives in Portugal where he teaches at the University of Porto.
