Take a young talented writer of travel writing and poetry, Sebastien Menard, and put him in the same room with two guitarists (Antoine Leroy and Jean-Paul Albert) and a illustrator (Elliot Raimbeau) who will be drawing live and see what happens! That is the whole idea behind a happening…a unique performance not to be missed! This program falls within the context of the Printemps des Poètes 2018 (the French national celebration of poetry) and has been organised with the collaboration of the MIEL (Maison internationale des écritures et des littératures) with the support of the Ville d’Angers.

In the context of the Printemps des Poètes 2018 (the French national celebration of poetry) the library is pleased to have former Poet resident, Joe Ross, once again in the library for a bilingual reading of his poetry. He will also be sharing his ideas about why poetry is important in our daily lives.

The library is an authorized open center for the TOEIC Listening and Reading test (Public programme with photo). To sign up please consult the ETS website. Scheduled dates for 2018 are

Wednesdays : March 14th, April 11th, May 9th, June 13th & Sept. 12th.

Saturdays : March 31st & July 7th
