Garden Club visit
The garden club invites you to discover the beautiful gardens in the area!
This will be a visit to a private garden. The garden is a mix of a vegetable plot, with raised beds and 2 greenhouses and flower borders. There is a wisteria covered area, patio and chalet all with tables and chairs and benches around the garden, some in sun, some in shade. There are mature oaks and a lime and catalpa, walnuts, weeping birch, apples, peaches, nectarine and plum. There are 2 fish ponds and a wild life pond and plenty of benches around the garden. Sue Goodchild is an artist and has published The artist and the gardener. We will have a chance to see her art too.
This activity is open to library members and offers visits once a month to a garden between April and October. For more information and/or to sign up for this visit, please send an email to Sylvie Leys at firstname.lastname@example.org.
